Shoot, and all this time I've watched article being corrected as proof that they appreciate comments pointing out their mistakes. Darn, Pilot, thanks for taking away one of my last little joys in reading that sorry rag.
I like their little "Victoria Advocate Staff" username, complete with avatar they have enlisted to refute accusations, point out the "rules", and explain how and why comments are either pre-emptively or after the fact, "disabled" on certain, touchy subjects and on stories on figures they know will evoke controversy....just sayin'...
Well, now I am confused.
Mr. Cobler tells us he appreciates it when mistakes are pointed out so they may correct them in a timely manner, a week later.
And now Pilot suggests that they may have an ulterior motive???
I'm aghast!
Now, BJ has admitted on another blog that he has an ally at the paper. That paper was already dicey about its credibilty and now that it has been confirmed that someone like BJ, I have the sinking feeling that we don't have to wait until the end of the Mayan calendar for the end of days. BJ and The Advocate together can bring literacy down to its knees. I'm scared.

Thanks for the laugh. First you say I am in or near Dallas, when I am near Victoria. Now, Lol, you are claiming that I had an ally and friend within the VicAd, when the person-in-question, who I suspect works there, is one of those I hate.
